Blackadder: The Animated Series is a British-American-Australian-Canadian family-friendly cartoon based on BBC's Blackadder that will air on CBBC in the United Kingdom, on Disney Channel and Disney XD in the United States, on ABC Me in Australia and on Teletoon on Canada, being a co-production between BBC Worldwide, Disney Television Animation, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Nelvana. Rated TV-Y7 for mild slapstick humor, some suggestive themes and comic mischief.


Following the events of the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth, this series takes place in many years after the two world wars.
