| ~ Black Bolt |
Black Bolt (Blackagar Boltagon) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character first appears in Fantastic Four #45 (December 1965). Black Bolt is the ruler of Attilan, a fictional kingdom and home of a reclusive race of genetically altered superhumans known as the Inhumans. Black Bolt's signature power is his voice, as his electron-harnessing ability is linked to the speech center of his brain. Speaking triggers a massive disturbance in the form of a highly destructive shockwave capable of leveling a city. Due to the extreme danger posed by this power, the character has undergone rigorous mental training to prevent himself from uttering a sound, even in his sleep, and he usually remains completely silent and speaks through sign language or via a spokesperson; most notably his wife and queen Medusa.
The character of Black Bolt has featured in other Marvel-endorsed products such as arcade and video games, animated television series, and merchandise such as trading cards. Black Bolt made his live-action debut in the 2017 Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Inhumans, portrayed by Anson Mount. He reprised the role in the 2022 Marvel Studios film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Iago PUC[]
Black Bolt appears in some of Iago PUC's Marvel-related ideas. While he retains his traits and powers from the previous Marvel media, some versions depict Black Bolt as a telepath, whose telepathic abilities allow him to communicate with others without the risk of using his destructive voice.
- Black Bolt appears in Marvel's Spider-Man: Webbed Champion, voiced by Fred Tatasciore. He first appears in "City of Heroes, Part 4: More Than Human", where he and the Inhuman Royal Family and the X-Men congratulate Spider-Man for preserving the Mutant/Inhuman Peace Treaty by protecting Kit Renner the Werefox from William Striker, Magneto and Maximus the Mad. In "An Eye in the Sky", Black Bolt and Medusa enlist Spider-Man's help in dealing with Ronan the Accuser, while Attilan's scientists oversee details about the Parker Projects, eventually playing a helping hand with the fourth project.
- Black Bolt appears in the show's follow-up sequel Marvel's Superhero Adventures: Infinity War, voiced again by Fred Tatasciore. He first appears in the film when a swarm of Thanos's Klyntauri invades Attilan, on which he decimates them all by whispering "hush". He is later mentioned to be discussing with the Royal Family about the safety of the people of Attilan. Black Bolt is eventually shown in the film's climax alongside the Royal Family, participating at the final battle against Thanos's armies. During the battle, he decimates a swarm of Klyntauri by yelling "begone".
- Black Bolt appears in Marvel: All New, All Different Chronicles, voiced by Roger Craig Smith.
- Black Bolt appears as a NPC in Marvel Superhero Adventures: Intergalactic Grand Prix.
