Becoming Thad: A Murder Drones Story is a 2030 Australian-American animated science-fiction mockumentary film written & directed by Liam Vickers & produced by Kevin Lerdwichagul. Based on the Murder Drones web series by Vickers, Sean Chiplock reprises his role as Thad from the show as the film revolves around his rise to athletics.
Produced by Glitch Productions & distributed by Neon, Becoming Thad: A Murder Drones Story was released in theaters on June 21, 2030, in celebration of Chiplock's 40th birthday. It grossed $52.5 million on a budget of $5 million & received positive reviews from critics.
