Character's Info[]

Ayato Tokoryuo (Kanji:常竜王·綾人, Hepburn: Tokoryuō Ayatō; pronounces "ry-u-o") is one of the main characters of the Project Zero-X, later returns as support character in Project I-X.

Appearance[]

Ayato's a 6'0" (182cm), brown eyes with auburn hairs, pale-ish skins and a blocky-muscular build.

Background History[]

He was born to Mie Tokouryo and her husband, Kijimoto Sagawa, in a countryside of Doramaki, Kantouben. He met Uchino in elementary school, and became bestfriends since then.

Zero-X[]

Even though the majority of his past were kept unknown upon outsiders, it was obvious that he was one of the victims of The Great Tokyo Attack, that later led to his father's death.

Despite that, he did managed to graduate from Doramaki High School, and signed to JGSDF as "a way to forget his past". He graduated from the academy, and were into front-line service for a mere 6 months before moves to Special Forces Group, 1st Platoon, promoted to Captain, callsign Alpha 1-1.

He later met and dating Hinata Tsukimori, one of his crewmate and 2nd-in-command of the unit, before Ayato proposed her. Happiness didn't last long with them as the team were sent into a joint operation with British SAS 22nd Regiment Team Bravo 6 and Russian Spetsnaz (where he met Marcy and Anna Novackova), that results in his spouse death.

3 years later, he resigned, but not before "The Boss" interrupting them and signing him into the team.

Thoughout the series, Ayato is the leader (and special operation branch) of Team Alpha, a multi-national task force, until the team's disavowed status at the end of Project Zero-X/"2 Cor-es 6/8" due to their act on killing General Hirashi Hishikimori.

Project I-X[]

2 years later, when The Allies blaming Japan for letting their task force unit betrayed the country, but also indirectly caused casulties on Russia and United Kingdom, Ayato boarded the country, cutting off all contact methods with the former team and all associates. It was unknown when did he joins "Black Division" mercenaries, a group of former hitmans known as "Loyalists".

Ethymology[]

  • His first name, Tokoryuō, can be splitted into 2 pairs of kanjis:
    • The first kanji, "常", means "constant; unchanging; eternal".
    • The 2nd kanji, "竜王", means "dragon king".
    • Thus his first name can means "king of all the daimyos".
  • His last name, Ayatō , means "twill" (綾) and "person" (人).
