Ayane was chosen to be the head of the Serpent Clan since birth, trained by her father. Years later, she was among the Serpent Clan to fight against their rivals, the Dragon Clan. However, both clans end up getting destroyed by the monster, Destoroyah. With her father dead, Ayane leads the Serpent Clan and made connections to Japan's criminal underworld.
