Avengers Worldwide is a comic book series published by Marvel Grand.

Synopsis[]

With more and more heroes and villains rising, Captain America decides to heavily expand the Avengers initiative, recruiting dozens upon dozens of heroes from all over the world to become Avengers as numerous Avengers band together to face dangerous threats, some old and some new as well.

Characters[]

Avengers[]

  • Steve Rogers/Captain America - the defender of America and a supersoldier from WWII who decides to form an international version of the Avengers with countless heroes in the roster as he leads the charge against menaces, wanting to bring forth a new world that is filled with peace and heroism, wielding a Vibranium shield.
  • Tony Stark/Iron Man - the cocky yet intellectual CEO of Stark Industries who operates in a suit of armor from his company's technology, as he helps Captain America in recruiting an international version of the Avengers, sometimes disagreeing with the expanded members but has numerous suits that he uses on multiple situations.
  • Thor Odinson - the goofy and silly crown prince of Asgard and Norse God of Thunder who wields his powerful hammer Mjolnir in battle, as he also cooperates with Captain America in recruiting an international version of the Avengers. He also decided to open up a fast-food joint known as Burgers of the Gods due to his love of humanity.
  • Bruce Banner/Professor Hulk - a genius scientist who has finally found a way to balance the Banner and Hulk side of his personality as he is capable of fighting bigger threats while being able to think logically although sometimes, he does like to just smash things, being a member of the Avengers since the beginning.
  • Scott Lang/Ant-Man - the current Ant-Man after Hank Pym's retirement who wears his own version of the Ant-Man suit as he can be quite reckless and often charges into danger, answering the call to join the heavily expanded Avengers roster, being quite excited to be a hero despite his reckless nature.
  • Jennifer "Jen" Walters/She-Hulk - Hulk's sarcastic and witty cousin who is also a Hulk as she operates as a lawyer as well, being quite useful for when the Avengers need a legal liaison although she knows how to give a big butt whooping as well, befriending some of the bigger Avengers as well.
  • Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch - a quite powerful witch who can harness Chaos Magic, allowing her to engage in numerous forms of magic as she ends up joining the expanded Avengers, being quite useful when they might need to deal with some sort of magical menaces, also being the protector of the Darkhold.
  • Dane Whitman/Black Knight - a somewhat friendly and bubbly knight themed superhero who wields the Ebony Blade as he joins the expanded Avengers roster, being quite skilled at swordsmanship while being extremely cocky and often making jokes at the expense of those he ends up facing against.
  • Shang-Chi - a slightly emotionless but skilled martial artist and the son of the Mandarin who rebelled against his father and ends up knowing several skilled martial arts moves, joining the expanded Avengers and tries his best to be the best martial artist that there ever was, truly seeing himself as a skilled combatant.
  • Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel - a cocky and extremely aggressive former Air Force pilot who, after clashing with the Kree Empire earned the powers of superhuman strength and durability, the ability to fly and the power to manipulate photonic energy, as she recently uses her abilities to become an intergalactic protector, also joining the expanding Avengers, getting along with some of them a bit.
  • Elizabeth "Liz" Rogers/Liberty - the giddy and energetic daughter of Captain America and She-Hulk from the far future as she traveled back in time to defend innocents from evil and to be a heroine, having enhanced strength thanks to her parents' superhuman DNA as well as wielding a holographic shield as she ends up joining the expanding Avengers.
  • The Eternals, a group of immortal superhumans who defend humanity from their evil counterparts known as the Deviants as several of them are members of the Avengers. The Eternals, who are Avengers, consist of:
    • Sersi - an empathic and sometimes easily bored and chaotic Eternal who can manipulate and transform matter, being a member of the Avengers as she quite likes to flirt around with several of her teammates, being quite excited that she has melted into a big superhero team, although her boredom at times can cause problems.
    • Ikaris - a powerful yet somewhat cocky Eternal who is capable of flight, laser beams and several other powers as he absolutely enjoys helping people as he also ends up joining the Avengers alongside Sersi as he quite likes working with heroes, seeing them as quite cool and fun to work with.
    • Thena - an elite Eternal and warrior who can craft weapons out of energy constructs and absolutely loves to fight and yearns for combat, joining the Avengers due to learning that being an Avenger would help her see far more instances of combat.
  • Loki Laufeyson - Thor's silly and somewhat mischievous adopted brother who decided that he should maybe go through the path of redemption as he ends up joining the Avengers, trying to use his trickery for good although sometimes his pranks and tricks can anger the Avengers. He is also the social media manager of Burgers of the Gods.
  • Pepper Potts/Rescue - Stark's childhood friend and the quite sarcastic chief executive at Stark Industries who is given her own Iron Man armor which she dubs Rescue as she is an emergency member of the Avengers, using her armor when more specifically Tony needs help in dealing with more dangerous missions.

Supporting[]

  • The Eternals, a group of immortal superhumans who defend humanity from their evil counterparts known as the Deviants as several of them are members of the Avengers. The Eternals, who are not Avengers, consist of:
    • Phastos - an intellectual Eternal who can manipulate technology, and invent anything out of nowhere, being quite a loner as he despises the Avengers and sees them as people playing hero, often clashing with his teammates but truly meaning well.

Antagonists[]

  • Hydra, a group of evil mad scientists and aspiring warlords who want to take over the world known as Hydra as they are old enemies to the Avengers and are a threat to their new larger roster as well:
    • Johann Shmidt/Red Skull - Captain America's longtime archenemy and nemesis who has recently awoken and has forced control back of all of Hydra as he wants to become an all-powerful warlord, wanting to gain access to power and control, with most other Hydra members believing that he is insane or mad as he often clashes against the Avengers.
    • Dr. Arnim Zola - a mad scientist loyal to Hydra and their ideals who inserted his mind into a mechanical body as he is loyal to the new leader of Red Skull, often creating weapons and tools for Hydra although he doesn't like fighting, being quite an infamous coward and runs away whenever things get too hard for him.
  • The Mandarin - the powerful and intimidating leader of the Ten Rings who is hungry for power as he wields ten alien rings which grants him extreme powers as he wants the entire world to kneel to him, being quite a dangerous threat to the Avengers, often scheming in many ways just to gain power.
  • George Tarleton/M.O.D.O.K. - the self-claimed leader of A.I.M. whose head is extremely large as he pilots a gigantic hoverchair and wants to prove himself as the greatest scientist on the planet, often sending A.I.M. forces to help him prove his intellectual superiority, often clashing with the now massive sized Avengers.
  • Morgana Le Fey - an ancient witch from Arthurian times who thanks to her immortality, survived into the modern day as she wants to become the most powerful witch alive, using numerous magical spells and schemes in order to find some way to become even more powerful than she once was, clashing with the Avengers.
  • The Eternals, a group of immortal superhumans who defend humanity from their evil counterparts known as the Deviants as several of them are members of the Avengers. The Eternals, who are quite antagonistic and villainous, consist of:
    • Druig - a villainous Eternal who is capable of controlling minds as he is in league with some Deviants and wants to become all powerful, beginning to clash with the expanded Avengers while attempting several schemes to gain control over minds and to gain as much power as he possibly can.
  • Zeke Stane/Technovore - the son of the deceased Obadiah Stane who stole a techno-organic virus from A.I.M. which makes him quite stronger and able to create any form of weapon he wants, but also gives him a dangerous hunger for steel and machinery, being a quite dangerous and somewhat soon near feral threat.
    • J.A.R.V.I.S./The Gunsmith - an artificial intelligence system who was Tony's first attempt to make an AI as he found Tony's hatred for making weapons to be stupid as he defected to A.I.M. and helped them create the Technovore armor, soon bonding with Zeke Stane as he tries to goad him into causing more havoc and destruction.
  • Kro - the feral and tribalistic last Deviant who just wants to survive, willing to attack anyone or anything to survive as his primal instincts and rage causes him to be quite dangerous to all of society.

  3. The Witch's Ball - Scarlet Witch hosts a superhero-only dance party which some of the Avengers attend. Things at first go well, until the villainous Morgana Le Fey invades the ball and steals the Darkhold from Wanda's grasp, using it to send demonic forces to possess most of the Avengers. A ragtag team of Captain America, Scarlet Witch, She-Hulk, Shang-Chi and Black Knight have to face against Le Fay and her demonic forces.
