Avengers: The Animated Series  is an American animated television series by Marvel Animation in cooperation with DHX Media, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers. The show debuted both on Disney XD and online in the fall of 2022.

The series initially features a team based on the roster for the original Avengers, composed of Iron Man, Giant-Man, Hulk, Thor, and Wasp. The team is later joined by Captain America, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, QuickSilver, Vision, Hawkeye, Wonder man, Ms.Marvel, Falcon, Black Widow, Tigra, Nova, and Spider man.  Although the series borrows many elements from previous Avengers storylines, it does not follow the continuity set by the comic books, the film series, nor that of The Avengers Cartoons.

Plot[]

The series features the adventures of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and the members of the Avengers as they fight various super villains and other threats to Earth.

Avengers[]

The Avengers are a major group of superheroes that are based in New York City, USA. they are the Earth's foremost defense against super powered threats. the Avengers fight "the foes no single superhero can withstand." The team, famous for its battle cry of "Avengers Assemble!", has featured humans, mutants, Inhumans, androids, aliens, supernatural beings, and even former villains.

Members[]

Captain America: an American war hero from World War II. He was frozen in ice for decades - long enough to survive until the 21st century. Although Captain America often struggles to maintain his ideals as a man out of his time with its modern realities, he remains a highly respected figure in his community which includes becoming the long-time leader of the Avengers.

Iron Man:a genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist. He not only invented the Iron Man Armor, but wears the armored suit himself. He is CEO of Stark Industries, which once sold highly sophisticated weapons systems technologies to the government defense organizations such S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D. who used them to maintain peace and order, but has pulled his company away from weapons business and rededicated it to create a better future of Earth.

Thor: an Asgardian god of thunder and a powerful warrior in Asgard. He was born in Asgard as the son of it's king, Odin. He is also the primary wielder of Mjolnir. 

Hulk: Doctor Robert Bruce Banner was a normal human scientist until he was exposed to gamma radiation which turned him into a big green monster called the Hulk. He serves as the main powerhouse of the team.

Giant-Man: He is a very intelligent scientist who is the love interest of Wasp. He uses Pym Particles to shrink and grow in size.

Wasp: a female superhero and a college student who works with Hank Pym at Greyburn College in New York City. She has the ability to fly and shrink. Janet is able to harness her own body's bio energy and project it as bright yellow blasts from her hands. These blasts, dubbed her "Stingers",

Hawkeye: an Avenger and former Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. He is the team's expert marksman.

Black Panther: the current king of Wakanda and a member of the Avengers.

Scarlet Witch: a mutant who had the ability to manipulate probability with hex blasts, causing unpredictable and unlikely effects to occur in an area. She is the daughter of Magneto and sister of Quicksilver.

Quciksilver: a mutant with the ability of super speed. He is the son of Magneto and brother of Scarlet Witch.

Ms. Marvel: a friend of Janet van Dyne. She worked with Dr. Philip Lawson, until he was found out to be the Kree scientist also known as Captain Marvel. After encountering the Sentry-459, she was exposed to the cosmic energy that was flowing over Lawson. Carol was transferred to a hospital for recovery, where she discovered she had gained powers from her exposure of Captain Marvel's energy.

Vision: an artificial superhuman android created by Ultron to be his second in command, who would eventually join the Avengers, serving as their scout.

Black Widow: a special agent/field commander of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a member of the Avengers.

Falcon: a vigilante superhero who uses flight technology to fly and fight with his "wing" projectiles. He is accompanied by his pet bird Redwing. He can fight in hand to hand combat.

Wonder Man: a superhero with super strength and is nearly invulnerable. He was also able to fly and could produce incredibly powerful energy blasts from his hands.

Tigra: She was an athlete who underwent genetic treatments to give her a competitive edge. These treatments went awry, leaving her with the form and abilities of a cat.

Nova: a super-hero with cosmic-energy abilities.

Spider-Man: a webslinging superhero who is based in New York City. Spider-Man has extraordinary arachnid based powers and capabilities.

S.H.I.E.L.D.[]

S.H.I.E.L.D. is a top-secret military espionage agency. Under Nick Fury's leadership, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s primary function is to keeping an eye on super-powered threats.

Notable Members[]

Nicholas "Nick" Fury:  the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., the spy agency tasked with keeping an eye on super-powered threats. He is an ally of the Avengers and a recurring character on the show.

Maria Hill: Nick Fury's second in command for S.H.I.E.L.D.

Clay Quartermain: a recurring Agent and a loyal captain to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Jimmy Woo: an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Jasper Sitwell: an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Mandroid Battle Suits: armored battlesuits employed by S.H.I.E.L.D. for heavy firepower-based operations. Its systems and weaponry are derived from Stark Industries technology, whom S.H.I.E.L.D. modifed them after Stark refuses to sell weapons to them.

Mockingbird: a special S.H.I.E.L.D. black-ops agent.

Eric O'Grady: an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Chris McCarthy: an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Phillip 'Phil' Coulson: Nick Fury's trusty right-hand man.

Agent Jemma Simmons:  a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who works under Agent Phil Coulson, alongside fellow agent Leo Fitz. 

Agent Leopold "Leo" Fitz: a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who works under Agent Phil Coulson, alongside fellow agent Jemma Simmons. 

X-Men[]

The X-Men are a group of superhero mutants led and founded by Professor Charles Xavier aka Professor X. The X-Men was formed by Charles Xavier to save the world from threats that may shatter mutant-human relationship and prevented a catastrophic war that exterminates almost all mutants and humans alike leaving the machines left in the world from happening despite being hounded and hunted down by the M.R.D. (Mutant Response Division) an anti-mutant special US military unit.

Known Members[]

Professor X: The founder of the X-Men, Professor X is a mutant who possesses vast telepathic powers, and is among the strongest and most powerful Earth-born telepaths in the Marvel Universe. 

Cyclops: The leader of the X-Men, Scott can shot optic blasts from his eyes yet he can only control them when he is wearing his visor or sunglasses. If not when he opens his eyes, he will uncontrollably shoot optic blasts at whatever he is trying to see.

Jean Grey: a telepathic and telekinetic mutant and a member of the X-Men.

Iceman: the joker of the team. Always having fun, and being cool. He is kind hearted and caring and always there for his friends. Bobby can create ice from his hands to make ice bridges, statues, shields etc. He can even turn his whole body into solid ice.

Angel: Angel's wings can carry up to twice his weight and can fly him to 29,000 feet at speeds up to 159 mph. His enhanced lungs enable him to breathe at high altitudes and he possesses extraordinary eyesight. He is very loyal to the X-men .

Beast: Though blessed with the agility and strength of a great ape, the blue-furred Henry McCoy's greatest asset is his keen scientific mind. He possesses a genius-level IQ, with extraordinary expertise in genetics, biochemistry and other subjects. 

Wolverine: Haunted by memories of the life that was stolen from him, Logan is a rebellious loner, His rapid healing ability and indestructible adamantium metal claws capable of slicing through almost any substance known to man make him a fearsome combatant. Only with the help of the team can Wolverine hope to protect the world from its own bleak future and continue Xavier's mission of peace.

Nightcrawler: a member of the X-men. He is the team's teleporter and is lovingly referred to as "elf".

Storm:  Storm can control the creation of rain, snow, sleet, fog, hail, wind, tornados and hurricanes, and lightning.

Shadowcat: Kitty Pryde has the power to phase though objects, which makes her a valuable member of the X-men.

Rogue: a member of the X-men. She has the ability to absorb powers and memories making her one of the best mutants there is.

Forge: the mechanic of the X-men

Colossus: has the ability to change his body's tissue into an organic, steel-like material. This gives him superhuman strength (he can lift at least 70 tons) and protects him from injury. Colossus is also a talented artist, he only reluctantly agrees to use his powers in combat, feeling it is his responsibility to use his abilities for the betterment of human and mutant-kind. 

Fantastic Four[]

The Fantastic Four is a group of superheroes consisting of four members imbued by cosmic radiation. They often assist the Avengers in various battles against villains and are often fought by Doctor Doom. 

Notable Members[]

Mr. Fantastic: a genius scientist with an obsession to explore the universe for the unknown. He is the leader of the super-team the Fantastic Four. Reed Richard can extend his body at will and can reform back. Reed Richard preverably use it in his research to make his work easier.

Invisible Woman: a member of the Fantastic Four and is Johnny Storm's older sister. Invisible Woman is able to cloak herself and others by will. Invisible Woman can project a psionic force fields around herself and others by will.

Thing: a super hero and a member of the Fantastic Four. He's the main powerhouse of the team.Thing has an indestructible rock-like skin which grants him extraordinary abilities. Thing possesses super-strength able to go toe-to-toe with the Hulk for a period of time.

Human Torch: a member of the Fantastic Four and the younger brother of Susan Storm. Human Torch was able to master the power of fire. Human Torch was able to absorb fire and manipulate fire at will. With pyrokinesis,Human Torch was able to fly in flames.

H.E.R.B.I.E.: the Fantastic Four's robot assistant. 

Heroes for Hire[]

The Heroes for Hire are a small group of superheroes who uses their superhero careers and powers as a way of earning money by working for hire to anyone who needs help. 

Known Members[]

Luke Cage: a Hero for Hire that has an indestructible skin making him a highly durable ally (as well as a deadly foe) in combat. With his "unbreakable" skin, he can withstand powerful blows and attacks from other foes and is stronger than any superhumans but not be as strong as the Hulk or Thor. He is also quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Iron Fist: a Hero for Hire that has the ability to focus his chi, and gain enhanced vision and hearing. He can also channel his chi into an iron-powered fist. 

Winter Guard[]

Winter Guard is a group of superheroes based in Russia.

Notable Members[]

Red Guardian: the leader of the Winter Guard. a highly skilled athlete with at least somewhat superhuman physical abilities, enough to go toe to toe with Captain America. Shostakov was an expert pilot.

Vanguard: a member of the Winter Guard. He possesses enormous strength and durability, and can use his hammer and sickle to generate energy blasts.

Ursa Major: a member of the Winter Guard. Ursa Major has the enhanced abilities and instincts of a wild bear and can transform at will.

Darkstar: a member of the Winter Guard. She can manipulate strands of solid Darkness which earned her hero name.

Titanium Man: a member of the Winter Guard. He wears an advanced suit of armor made of titanium-iron alloy equipped with advanced weaponry and technology similar to Iron Man's possibly.     

Guardians of the Galaxy[]

a group of powerful beings dedicated in protecting the universe from the powers of evil who seeks to conquer or destroy it.     

Notable Members[]

Star-Lord: the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He has no powers but is a skilled fighter and strategist.

Rocket Raccoon: a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He's the marksman gunslinger of the team.

Quasar: a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. She showed remarkable abilities by creating energy weapons.

Adam Warlock: a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He possesses the Soul Gem, which contains a pocket dimension, as well as allowing the carrier to engage other sentient creatures in conversations using the mind, directly.

Groot: a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He is a Flora Colossus from an unknown world.

Gamora: a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Drax the Destroyer: a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He's the main powerhouse of the team.     

Inhumans Royal Family[]

the leaders of the Inhumans, a genetically altered sub-species of humanity. The Inhuman Royal Family has stayed isolated from others for many generations until their encounter with the Fantastic Four. Since then, the Inhumans have been involved in events either against or with Earth's super-teams, such as the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Illuminati, but nevertheless the Inhuman Royal Family are unique in their own right and occupy a unique corner in the universe.

Known Inhumans Royal Family[]

Black Bolt: the king of the Inhumans and ruler of Attilan. He is an Inhuman who wears a black suit with gliding flaps, and has the ability to release extremely powerful and destructive shockwaves from his mouth, by so much as speaking, and thus, never speaks unless absolutely necessary. He is the leader of the Inhuman Royal Family, who venture out from Attilan as a superhero team.

Medusa: the queen of the Inhumans. 

Crystal:the sister Medusa and Princess of the Inhumans Royal Family.

Karnak: a member of the Inhuman Royal Family.

Gorgon: a member of the Royal Family of the Inhumans.

Triton: a member of the Inhumans' Royal Family.

Lockjaw: an Inhuman dog with the teleportation power (as well as other abilities) who serves the Inhuman Royal Family as their escort and as a loyal protector.     

Other Heroes[]

Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes: Tony Stark's best friend who is well aware of what he is doing and an officer of the US Armed Forces. He is Iron Man's partner as War Machine.     

Quake: She possesses earthquake-producing abilities which earned her hero name.           

Doctor Stephen Strange: the Sorceror Supreme and the most powerful human sorceror on Earth.

Moon Knight: Marc Spector has become an expert at hand-to-hand combat techniques and martial arts such as Boxing, Kung Fu, Eskrima, Judo, Karate, Ninjutsu, Savate, and Muay Thai. He is an Olympic-level athlete and a skilled acrobat and gymnast, and excels as a combat strategist. He employs a variety of weapons over the course of his career, including throwing darts, nunchaku, and a truncheon. He is skilled with most weapons, and an expert with throwing weapons.

Punisher: a vigilante who employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his campaign against crime.

She-Hulk: the cousin of Hulk.

Doc Samson: He is a friend of the Hulk's.

Scott Lang: new and current Ant-Man 

Winter Soldier: Bucky was Captain America's partner during World War II. After being brainwashed by the Red Skull, he became an agent known as the Winter Soldier but later broke free and became a freelance mercenary.

Hercules: a god of the Greek pantheon and rival of Thor.

Namor: a superhuman hero and the ruler of Atlantis.           

Ghost Rider: Johnny Blaze was a morotcycle stuntman who was bonded to a fiery ghost called the Spirit of Vengeance to hunt evil as the Ghost Rider.            

Villains[]

HYDRA[]

HYDRA is a major terrorist organization led by Baron von Struckeron the present day. The organization was originally led by Baron Zemo and Red Skull during World War II.  It has survived to present day, using advanced technology in pursuit of world domination.

Leaders and agents[]

Baron Strucker: one of HYDRA's main leaders. 

Madame Hydra: one of Baron Strucker's lieutenants in HYDRA.

Baron von Blitzschlag: the lead scientist of HYDRA.

Arnim Zola: a Swiss scientist who uploaded his mind into a machine body.

Crossbones: a Hyrda assassin-turned-mercenary.

Crimson Widow: a Hydra agent trained by Hydra to be their own evil Black Widow.

HYDRA Dreadnoughts: combat amored automatons of HYDRA's military forces upgraded with stolen StarkTech weapons. Their immense strength and weapons are almost compared to Hulk and Iron Man in combat.

Michael Morbius: a scientist working for HYDRA who became Morbius the Living Vampire later on.

Red Skull: Johann Shmidt is the leader of HYDRA, a sizable terrorist organization derived from the Third Reich. A Nazi during World War II, he was injected with a premature and incomplete variant of the Super-Soldier formula. This early version of the serum initially granted him extraordinary strength and speed, and he assumed the alias of Red Skull.            

A.I.M.[]

A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) is a rogue organization that creates deadly and destructive weapons. Their greatest creation is M.O.D.O.C., Mental Organism Designed Only for Conquest, which betrayed and killed his original creators and took control of the organization. A.I.M. usually steal Stark's technology and used them against him or sell them to anyone who has the ability to pay in the highest bidder.

Serpent Society[]

The Serpent Society is a team of super villains with snake powers and abilities.

Members[]

King Cobra: the leader of the Serpent Society. He has tazers on his wrists, and can shoot missiles from his chest. He can form a metalic tail from his belt which covers his legs.

Anaconda: a member of the Serpent Society and is the only female member of the group, Anaconda is an artificially enhanced being who possesses several superhuman powers. She is super humanly strong, capable of denting Cap's temporary steel shield with a single punch. She is also able to extend her arms like snakes, which allows her to attack from a distance and to crush her foes like a true anaconda.

Bushmaster: a member of the Serpent Society. Can extend machete blades from his wrists.

Death Adder: a member of the Serpent Society. He uses his tail to lift people into the air or hit them, He also possesses razor sharp claws.

Rattler: a member of the Serpent Society. He has enhanced strength and can shoot bolts of electricity from his tail.

Constrictor:  a super-villain with long, wrist-mounded metal coils. 

Diamondback: a member of the Serpent Society.

Cottonmouth: a member of the Serpent Society.            

Circus of Crime[]

The Circus of Crime is a travelling circus headed by the Ringmaster, whose carnival acts are perfomed by criminals who use their superhuman abilities to commit crimes.            

Members[]

Ringmaster: The hypnotist, ringmaster, and leader of the Circus of Crime. Ringmaster wields flamethrower gloves, and can vanish in a cloud of smoke.

Bruto the Strongman: a Circus of Crime member who possesses incredible superhuman strength.

Great Gambonnos: members of the Circus of Crime who are expert acrobats and aerialists.

Human Cannonball: wears padded steel armor to protect his head, shoulders, wrists and feet from the effects of his attack. The armor also offers some protection from physical attacks. His Rocket pack Enables him to fly and shoot laser blasts.

Trick Shot: Trick Shot uses a hunter's bow, and a wide variety of trick arrows, such as smoke bombs, bola arrows, 360 degree arrows, and many others.

Princess Python: A snake charmer who is usually assisted by a giant ball python.

Clown: a member of the Circus of Crime.            

Masters of Evil[]

The Masters of Evil was an organization of super villains lead by Baron Zemo, who have clashed with the Avengers numerous times.            

Members[]

Baron Zemo: one of the first leaders of the terrorist organization HYDRA. Later, he becomes the leader of a group of supervillains known as the Masters of Evil. He is also one of Captain America's arch nemesis.

Enchantress: an Asgardian sorceress, supervillain and a member of the Masters of Evil. She is one of Thor's enemies.

Executioner: the Enchantress' bodyguard and underling. He has always been on her side, taking orders from her whatever she wishes. He is armed with an Asgardian axe with tremendous power of fire and ice.

Black Knight: a trained High tech enforcer for the The Maggia. He rides a motorized steed and has an advanced electronic lance.

The Melter: the owner of a start-up robotics company who possessed no superhuman powers. All of his powers were derived from his Melting Ray weapons.

Radioactive Man: a scientist from China who was exposed to raditation, altering his body and granting him superpowers.He is able to emit dangerous levels of radiation, often in the form of deadly blasts.

Crimson Dynamo: a Russian villain who faced Iron Man many times, He has no powers but has a large suit of armor similar to the Hulkbuster Armor. He has the most dangerous weapons to wield against anyone who stands in his way. He has super strength and flight from the armor he's wearing. it also has an array of missiles, machine guns and other offensive weapons in concealed in the armor.

Abomination:  a loyal soldier of Russian descent who was assigned to the Hulkbusters, an elite unit under the command of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. When Emil's combat experience proved ineffective against the Hulk, Ross exposed him to gamma radiation that transformed Emil into a hulking monster dubbed "The Abomination".

Whirlwind: a rough tempered super villain who uses wind powers for his own evil deeds. 

Klaw: a super villain made of sound.

Man Ape: the head of the Wakanda of the Jabari Village who are followers of the White Gorilla Cult. M'Baku gained immense strength and durability able to hold on his own in combat against the likes of the Black Panther.

Tiger Shark: an amphibious humanoid with the traits of a human, an Atlantean (Homo mermanus), and a tiger shark. As Tiger Shark, he possesses the same superhuman strength, stamina, water speed and durability as Namor, although he must be immersed in water to achieve his full strength. On land, he must wear his special costume containing a water circulation system which bathes him with a thin layer of water, to retain his strength. Tiger Shark also possesses an innate hunting instinct inherited from his shark genes, as once he locks onto prey he cannot stop tracking it until it has been captured or he has been forcibly repulsed. He has the ability to survive indefinitely underwater, and has gills on his cheeks and razor-sharp pointed adamantium teeth.

Moonstone: a psychologist who used her abilities to manipulate her patients. One of them was the original Moonstone, who Sofen convinced into giving her the Kree Lifestone which gave him his powers. Karla absorbed the stone and acquired its powers, with which Karla became a criminal for hire.            

Lethal Legion[]

The Lethal Legion are formed by the villain Grim Reaper (the brother of Avenger Wonder Man) in order to attempt world dominion and destroy the Avengers.

Membership[]

Grim Reaper: an elderly super villain who is a cyborg with flexible agility and a dangerous agent of HYDRA. He is also the older brother of Simon Williams aka Wonder Man. He is also the Leader of the lethal Legion.

Absorbing Man: an ex-convict who had gained the ability to shift his body into any substance he touches.

Titania: a super-powered criminal in a relationship with Absorbing Man. Thanks to cellular augmentation through radiation, Titania possesses immense superhuman strength, but later increased after performing rigorous prolonged weight-lifting training, and rivals her nemesis, She-Hulk. 

Living Laser: a super-villain with the ability to change his corporeal body into living light.

Goliath: a former AWOL Marine turned mercenary who gains the ability to grow to giant size. He possesses great superhuman strength and durability even at normal size.

Swordsman: an Olympic level athlete with no superhuman powers, and is a cunning strategist and highly adept at unarmed combat. The Swordsman is a master in the uses of bladed weapons, especially swords and knives, and his main weapon is a sword modified by the super-villain Mandarin from Makluan technology. By pressing one of the buttons on the sword's hilt, the Swordsman can project a concussive force beam, a disintegrating ray, a large jet of flame, electrical energy in a form resembling lightning, or a stream of nerve gas that induced temporary unconsciousness. He also carries various throwing knives and daggers as needed.

Fixer: a former worker at Stark Industries until he was fired by Tony Stark for giving away company secrets.

Beetle: a skilled villain-for-hire mercenary who uses a suit of hi-tech flying beetle armor to commit crimes. He keeps his true identity a close secret and attempts to destroy anyone who tries to expose it.

Grey Gargoyle: an ordinary man until he exposed himself to an experimental compound and gained the ability to turn people into stone.

Blizzard: an old foe of Iron Man. He has an arsenal of cryogenic weaponry to do the job.

Whiplash: Anton Vanko possesses a suit of armor equipped with two energy whips built into the wrists. The whips are shown to be powerful enough to slash through a metal staircase, as well as deflect a barrage of gunfire.

Screaming Mimi: she had the ability to generate a high-pitched, earsplitting, earth-shattering supersonic scream of great volume and for a variety of effects. 

Trapster: a super-villain that uses paste-based weaponry.            

Zodiac[]

Zodiac is a team of aliens mutated to resemble the signs of the zodiac. The leader of the team is Taurus the Bull with his second in command being Scorpio the Scorpion. 

Membership[]

Taurus: the leader of the Zodiac. He has the ability to take human form temporarily and has used the identity of Cornelius van Lunt. Taurus had superhuman strength and can use energy blasts.

Scorpio: Taurus's right-hand man. He is depicted as an alien with scorpion mandibles on his jaw, a scorpion claw for a right hand, and a scorpion tail on the back of his head. 

Aquarius: a member of the Zodiac with a fish-like appearance and water-based attacks.

Aries: a member of the Zodiacs who is a super-strong alien that wears a ram-horned helmet.

Cancer: a member of the Zodiac who possessed superhuman strength, wore armor, used claws, and possesses blades on his wrist.

Capricorn: a member of the Zodiac who is a goat-horned green-skinned alien that wields a flail in battle.

Gemini: a member of the Zodiac that is a two-headed alien (one male head, one female head) with four arms.who often gets into arguments with one another.

Leo:a lion-like alien who has super human strength, agility, endurance, a set of razor sharp claws, enhanced hearing and vision.

Libra: a female alien who wields a weighing scale-like weapon.

Pisces: a female fish-like alien who is an expert in all forms of fighting.

Sagittarius: an alien with a centaur-like appearance where the horse-half is mechanical. He is the marksman of the Zodiac and peacemaker between Aries and Leo.

Virgo: an alien with psychic powers.She is especially evil and sadistic. 

Sinister Twelve[]

The Sinister Twelve is a super villain team that Doctor Octopus founded, that is typically composed of Twelve of Spider-Man's formidable foes to destroy Spider-Man once and for all.

Membership[]

Doctor Octopus: a scientist working at Oscorp, but due to a lab accident ends up fusing him to his four mechanical tentacles and drove him to extreme criminal activities, getting into conflict with Spider-Man.

Electro: an enemy of Spider-Man who gained the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning while working on a power line. 

Kraven the Hunter: the most skilled hunter in the known world, relying only on his natural skills and using his bare hands to subdue his prey. 

Mysterio: a special effects wizard and stunt man working for a major Hollywood studio with dreams of making a name for himself in the film industry. However, he came to see his career in special effects as a dead-end job. His attempts to become an actor were poorly received, but he realized that his expertise in illusions could make him an effective supervillain.

Sandman: A shapeshifter endowed through an accident with the ability to turn himself into sand. He is a  a member of the Sinister Twelve.

Vulture: a middle-aged man with reddish-brown hair, and his flight suit has visor and a neck device that enables him to perform sonic attacks.

Shocker: a career criminal who, after several prison terms for robbery, built a battle suit that sent out shock waves to quickly open safes as well as give him a significant advantage over the police.

Scorpion: a criminal who wears a full-body battle suit which is armed with a cybernetically-controlled, seven-foot mechanical tail, with a tool steel articulated framework which can whip at 90 miles per hour. The tail has in the past been equipped with projectile weapons, usually an electric generator, although it has also been equipped with a spike at its tip, which can squirt an acidic spray, and a low-density plasma energy projector. 

Boomerang: freelance assassin-for-hire. 

Rhino: a thug who worked for Eastern Bloc scientists. The scientists subjected him to a process which gave him an artificial skin covering which granted him superhuman strength.

Venom: a journalist who exposes the identity of a serial killer only for the real killer to be caught by Spider-Man, thus he accused the wrong man. Disgraced and suicidal, he comes into contact with an alien Symbiote, rejected by Peter Parker. The Symbiote bonds with him and they become Venom, together seeking out revenge against their mutual enemy.

Hydro-Man: While in the special research unit working as a crewman he was knocked overboard into the ocean where his body was covered by a strange chemical which changed his cellular structure, allowing him to control any liquid at will, and turn into water.  

Squadron Supreme[]

Squadron Supreme is a group of alien superheroes from a distant world similar to the Avengers. They chose to solve their planet's problems by taking control of the planet, because they felt partially responsible for the chaos ravaging their planet. As the new authority they took on more than just crime fighting and super-villains, they tackled poverty, hunger, the environment, and public health. 

Membership[]

Nighthawk: leader of the team, Nighthawk prides himself on being one step ahead of his enemies and has a massive superiority complex over the Avengers. Throughout the series Nighthawk acts very much like a chess-master, carefully planning his every move and is a brilliant strategist.  Due to his alien heritage and combine with special dieting plans, rigorous training, meditation techniques & exercise regimes, he had developed super strength, speed, metabolism, stamina, longevity, reflexes & agility that are remarkably similar to Captain America's own enhanced physical capabilities.He has a special suit designed to possibly enhance his combat performance, resilience & stealth-based capabilities. It is therefore believed that the suit is also part of what makes him physically superhuman. It also has a radio comm link and sports several costume aids, such as a jet-powered artificial wing system, artificial claw tips, lasers and projectile weapons.

Hyperion: a corrupt superhero and a Squadron Supreme member. Hyperion's superhuman abilities come most likely from his alien heritage. Hyperion possess superhuman strength, stamina, speed, durability, flight, and "atomic vision" 

Power Princess: a member of the Squadron Supreme. She hailed from Utopia Isle a society separate from the rest of the world. She once fought alongside Thor in the battle of Muspelheim. She has supersonic flight, super-strength, greatly enhanced reflexes, superhuman senses and nigh-invulnerability. Zarda wields a mystical Sledge sharing many similarities to Mjolnir.

Doctor Spectrum: a member of the Squadron Supreme. He is the host for the power Prism.The Power Prism bestows on a host the ability to project and manipulate energy; create energy constructs of various shapes and sizes; flight; protection from the rigours of space and in the case of the original Doctor Spectrum, Kinji Obatu, the ability to become intangible. The Power Prism has one weakness: being vulnerable to ultra-violet light.

Speed Demon: a member of the Squadron Supreme. He is able to channel the electrical force into his cellular structure, thereby increasing his movement speed, reaction times, mental processing speeds, thinking speeds & metabolic speed to an extremely potent level and he can go fast even supersonic speed.

Nuke: a member of the Squadron Supreme. He can generate radioactive energy from inside his cellular structures & bend it to his will for a variety of effects. He is also able to fly at high speeds. He is capable of massive superhuman strength, enough to match Hyperion's normal strength in combat. He was even confident in defeating the Avengers without Nighthawk's or Hyperion's help.  

Other Villains[]

Loki: an Asgardian super villain and the adopted brother/arch-enemy of Thor. He is one of the Avengers' greatest foes.

Ultron: an evil self-aware artificial intelligence and an enemy of the Avengers.

Vlad Dracula: the king of vampires

Magneto: a mutant terrorist, arch-enemy of the X-Men and leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants. He's the father of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

Mandrill: a super villain mutant who can control women with his pheromones.

Doctor Doom: a power-hungry mastermind. He has a genius-level scientist, who specializes in advanced robotics, and often employs his own battle robots, called Doombots, to achieve his goals. He is the tyrannical ruler of the country of Latveria.

Attuma: an Atlantean warlord

The U-Foes: a team of HYDRA backed Scientists who stole a spaceship to duplicate the accident that gave the Fantastic Four their powers. Vector: The team leader who was given telekinesis. Vapor: Given the ability to turn into any form of gas. X-ray: Vapor's brother who can create radiation blasts. Ironclad: Body is made out of a living metal, and can control his weight and density.

Wrecking Crew: a group of construction themed super villains all with their incredible strengths to which no ordinary person could compare.Wrecker:  the leader of the Wrecking Crew, He has a crowbar that reminds him of his days as a typical criminal and thief. Thunderball:  He has superstrength and durability. He also wields a large Wrecking Ball. Piledriver: He has super strength and durability. Bulldozer: the bulk of the Wrecking Crew. He has superstrength and durability to hold on his own in battle.He wears an orange costume with a metal helmet that may help him when he is charging at things. 

Justin Hammer: the CEO of Hammer Industries and a rival of Tony Stark.

Hypno Hustler: a super-villain with mind control abilities.

Chemistro: an average super-villain armed with an "alchemy gun" that disintegrates and corrodes anything, and anyone who stands in his way.

Graviton: a scientist who worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. to continue the super soldier project. When his secret experiment went wrong, he achieved gravikinetical powers which drove him power-mad.

Griffin: a chimeric super villain

Leader: Once a menial laborer, Samuel Sterns was working as a janitor in the lab where Bruce Banner was working on a gamma project, and it was there that Sterns was exposed to gamma radiation. And while weak but brilliant scientist Banner was transformed into the Hulk, the low-functioning Sterns was transformed into a superhuman genius.

Purple Man: a super-villain with purple skin.

Batroc the Leaper: a mercenary and criminal of France.

Crossfire: a super-villain who steals tech and equipment from super-heroes (including Ant Man) for profit from those who will pay him handsomely.

Doughboy: Arnim Zola's gruesome creation, created to serve and fight for its master. 

Fin Fang Foom: a giant extraterrestrial dragon and an enemy of the Avengers. 

Mojo: a galactic television host from the Mojoverse.

Blood Brothers: a pair of alien mercenary's.

Black Order: a team of aliens that serve Thanos.

Super-Adaptoid: a android created by Justin Hammer that copies the powers and equipment of any super powered being. It is mostly used by M.O.D.O.K.  

Mad Thinker: He has amazing intellect which allows him to think at a fast rate which earned him his name.

Nightmare: a demon and ruler of the Dream Dimension.

Ronan the Accuser: a warrior and a public Accuser of the Kree Empire.

Super-Skrulls: a handful of Skrulls that are genetically enhanced with the powers of several superpowered and technical advanced people from Earth. 

Super-Apes: a group of genetically modified apes with telepathy, super strength, and intellect.

Red Ghost: a super-villain who can turn intangible at will. He is accompanied by his Super-Apes who have enhanced abilities of their own.

Thaddeus E. Ross: a four-star general  in the U.S. Army, the commanding officer of the Hulkbuster Unit, and one of Hulk's arch nemesis. He later became a mutated superhuman known as the Red Hulk.

Surtur: a lord of the Fire Demons from the extra-dimensional planes of Muspelheim.

Wizard: the master of anti-gravity.

Thundra: a ruthless warrior woman from an alternative future timeline.

Arcade: a mutant with the power to control technology with his mind. 

Maximus the Mad: an Inhuman and the brother of Blackbolt.

Mesmero: a mutant super-villain with the power of hypnosis.

Dragon Man: a dragon-like humanoid android super villain.

Collector: a cosmic being that travels the galaxy searching for specimens to add to his collection.

Grandmaster:  the older brother of Collector.

Annihilus: a insectoid being from the Negative Zone.

Lucia von Bardas: a Latverian cyborg and representive for Doctor Doom.

Quasimodo: a hunched-backed super villain and partner of Mad Thinker. 

Bi-Beast: a two-headed super villain who is an enemy of the Hulk.

Diablo: a practitioner of alchemy, science based upon the transmutation of elements, and has attained mastery of the alchemical sciences with his genius-level intellect. He was educated by tutors in 9th-century Spain, and is self-taught in alchemy and modern sciences.

Baron Blood: a vampire lord, and leader of a clan of vampires. Among the vampires in the world, he is known to be one of the most sadistic ones. He and his clan not only drain their victims of their blood, but also take particular pleasure in tormenting them first. He is one of the greatest enemies of the vampire hunter Blade, and has in the past also fought several times against Captain America.

Green Goblin: Norman Osborn was the CEO of Oscorp and an adversary of Spider-Man.

Baron Mordo: the evil sorcerer and arch enemy of Dr. Stephen Strange.

Obadiah Stane: once a business partner of Tony Stark, until one day he stole Tony’s Iron Man technology to make his own suit of armor and become the supervillain Iron Monger. Since that day, he has been one of Tony Stark’s primary opponents.

The Mandarin: one of the strongest super villains in the world, and an archenemy of Iron Man.

Dormammu: a demonic entity that rules over the Dark Dimension. He wields great magical powers. He has already conquered several other realms, and imprisoned their inhabitants in the Dark Dimension.

Silver Samurai: the greatest villain of Japan. From behind the scenes, he basically runs the entire country. He has a large army of ninja at his disposal. Despite being a villain, he does follow the samurai code of honor. He is also a longtime enemy of Tony Stark, whom he considers a rival and worthy opponent.

Zzzax: a super villain whose body is composed of pure electricity.

Wendigo: a supernatural creature, created when a human consumes human flesh and is cursed thereafter. Over time, multiple people have been afflicted with the curse ever since.

Ultimo: a giant rampaging robot. Its creator is currently unknown. It has some of the most dangerous laser weaponry, might be upgraded with RepulsorTech which its unknown creator stole from Tony Stark.

Weapon X: a covert organization led by The Professor that works on creating Super-Soldiers from mutants.

Technovore: a nanotech A.I. in the form of a large mechanical parasite that consumes any data, machinery and energy itself.

Taskmaster: a super villain, who runs a series of schools, where he trains and then rents hirelings, thugs, and minions for other super-villains.

Kang the Conqueror: a time-travelling conqueror from the 41st century and an adversary of the Avengers.

Juggernaut: the step-brother of the Professor X, and enemy of the X-Men .

Galactus: a cosmic being who is known as the Devourer of Worlds because of his huge appetite for worlds around the universe. He has heralds to proclaim his arrival on each targeted world he chooses to consume.

Thanos: an evil intergalactic Titan overlord and an enemy of the Avengers.

J. Jonah Jameson: the head of Daily Bugle and an employer of Peter Parker.

Betty Brant: a reporter of Daily Bugle and a friend of Peter Parker.

Robbie Robertson: the Daily Bugle's city editor.

Abraham Erskine: the scientist who created the Super Soldier Serum that transforms stick-thin Steven Rogers into battle-physiqued Captain America during World War II.

Balder: an honourary Asgardian warrior and stepbrother of Thor.

Beta Ray Bill: a Korbonite hero and guardian, who was assigned to protect his endangered species, the Korbonites. He was given great powers by scientists and genetic of his world, and became very powerful. He's also the only other person who is worthy to lift Mjolnir. He acquired from Eitri his new hammer, Stormbreaker, after finding out by Odin that he was deemed worthy of a noble warrior.

Cassie Lang: the daughter of Scott Lang.

Eitri: a dwarf king of Nidavellir

The Warriors Three: (Volstagg The Valorous, Fandral The Blade, and Hogun the Grim) are Asgardian warriors and Thor's most trusted allies.

Faradei: a Light Elf 

General Chester Phillips: a US Army general during World War II.

Glenn Talbot: an officer of the United States Military. He serves as second in command of the Hulkbusters under General Thunderbolt Ross.

Heimdall: one of Thor's allies in Asgard, and the Guardian of Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge. He is the brother of Sif.

Hela: the goddess of death and the ruler of Hel .

Henry Gyrich: a liaison with the United States Government

J.A.R.V.I.S.: an AI butler created by Tony Stark. J.A.R.V.I.S. often provides system monitoring for Stark when Tony operates the Iron Man armor.

Jane Foster: a paramedic who works in New York City.

Karnilla: the queen of Nornheim and the guardian of the Norn Stones. She was one of Asgard's most powerful sorceresses in all of the Nine Realms.

Aunt May: Peter Parker's aunt.

N'Gassi: the advisor to the king of Wakanda.

Odin: the ruler of Asgard, the father of Thor and the adoptive father of Loki. He sleeps once a year to regain his strength in a sleep cycle known as the "Odinsleep" to protect his kingdom from invaders like the Frost Giants.

Pepper Potts: Tony Stark's secretary of Stark Industries. She also keeps track of the Avengers Mansion, and its house guests. She was best friends with Tony and James Rhodes.

Ravonna: Kang the Conqueror's lover.

Sif: a female shield maiden and warrior in the magical kingdom of Asgard. Her skill in battle is second only to Brunhilde the Valkyrieamong Asgardian females. She has a great dislike of Amora the Enchantress for reasons that remain unknown.

Sydren: an alien tech-head

T'Chaka: the original Black Panther and king of Wakanda. He was the father of T'Challa, the heir to the throne and the next Black Panther of Wakanda.

Brunnhilde: the leader of the Valkyries.
