Plot[]

20 year after Astro's sacrifice to save the world, Metro City sudenly becomes a crime ridden apocalypse, leaving many civilians to flee, leaving it run by the worst criminal scum, meanwhile, an unreleased perfect copy of Astro breaks out of a Museum display case, after seeing what's wrong, Astro decides to save Metro City once again.

Easter Eggs[]

the game contains a vast amount of Easter eggs, not only ones relating to the Astro Boy franchise, but other games from publisher Bethesda.

  • At the very beginning of the game, when Astro breaks out of his Display case, on the very front of the glass, there is a reversed logo for Vault-Tec from the Fallout series.
  • if you die in some point and wait to restart the loading screen has a running sprite animation Astro from Omega Factor at the far left bottom of the screen.
  • in the Hideout hub world, a coffee table with magazines can be seen, one of them has a sprite Mugshot of Astro from Omega Factor with a shocked expression.
  • in the same hub world, you can find a bookshelf, one of the books is called "PsychoBreak" by Sebastian Castellanos, PsychoBreak Is the Japanese title of The Evil Within series, also from Tango Gameworks, and Sebastian Castellanos is the name of the protagonist from the series.
  • in the Robot Arena level before Astro enters the Coliseum, you can find a rusty dead robot in the Hallway, wearing the Iron Helmet from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, with an Arrow sticking out of its joint knee.
  • a dead Panzerhund from Wolfenstein: The New Order and it's sequels can also be seen in the Robot Arena.
  • early in the game, there is a Casualties list of those who died in the Metro City War, those including, "Watt, Billie Lou", "Bednarski, Steven", "Milo, Candy" and "Highmore Freddie" these are references to Billie Lou Watt, Steven Bednarski, Candy Milo, and Freddie Highmore, all of whom English voiced Astro in that respective order, Bednarski also voices Dr. Tenma in the game.
