Aristocats: The Animated Series is an upcoming American musical animated series loosely based on the 1970 Disney film of the same name by Wolfgang Reitherman.
Premise
Taking place in the beautiful city of Paris, France, the series describes the adventures of three talented upper-class teenage sibling cats, which consist of the shy and kindhearted musician Berlioz, the eloquent and ladylike yet feisty singer Marie, and the rumbustious and outgoing painter Toulouse. Accompanying them on their exploits is Toulouse's street-smart best friend and Marie's crush Delancey and their faithful mouse friend Roquefort.
History
Production started in 1999, they pitched for a pilot in 2001, the same year when all the characters got redesigned, the pilot was originally gonna air in April 2002, but the pilot idea was scraped in October 2001, the show was originally gonna be released in fall 2002 but changed to 2007 and but production was cancelled the year before, but restarted in 2012 and will schedule to release on April 25, 2018 but the pilot will release on October 6, 2017
