Arcade is an American-fantasy Live Action/CGI 2D Animated film directed by James Cameron and released by Walt Disney Pictures for June, 17th, 2020.


Three friends get sucked in the world of Arcade video games.


The movie starts at a mysterious place as a hooded figure is meeting with General M. Bison. The figure explains about how they are gonna rule the arcade side by side with the figure handing Bison a chip that allows him to hack into any form of being in the Arcade.

It cuts to the real world as three best friends Max, Donovan and Natalie are playing in the Arcade. Soon they run out of coins as the owner, Henry graciously gives them each one extra coin. As they put their coins in separate arcade machines, all three of them warp inside the machines.

Max wakes up inside of Pong. While trying to find a way out, he notices that both of the rectangles are specifically aiming the ball to hit him. He eventually outsmarts the rectangles and escapes into the main grid. In the meantime, Donovan wakes up in Pac-Man as he is greeted by Pac-Man as they learn that the ghosts have become more hostile, with them evading the ghosts and leaving the machine into the main grid. Finally, Natalie arrives in [Mario or Donkey Kong yet still with Luigi] as she TBD.


  • Tye Sheridan as Max, the main human protagonist. He is the leader and loves Arcade games and is a master of it.

  • Darren Criss as Sonic the Hedgehog, the mascot of Sega and an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog who can run in superhuman speeds.
  • Patton Oswalt as Pac-Man, a creature that eats power pellets and ghosts.
  • Johnny Depp as Inky, the leader of a group of ghosts.
