April O'Neil

April O'Neil is a fictional character from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. She is the first human ally of the Ninja Turtles. Her main love interest in the series was Casey Jones.

April made her first appearance in the Mirage comic series in 1984 as a computer programmer. She was later portrayed as a strong-willed news reporter in the Turtles' first animated series, as a warrior in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic produced by Archie Comics, and various other personas in different TMNT media.

April was later voiced by Renae Jacobs in the 1987 animated series, by Veronica Taylor in the 2003 animated series, and by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the 2007 film TMNT. In the 2012 animated series, April is voiced by Mae Whitman, in which she is her late teens. In film, she has been portrayed by Judith Hoag (1990), Paige Turco (1991 and 1993), Megan Fox (2014 and 2016) and by Malina Weissman as the younger version of the character in the 2014 film.

• April appears as a guest supporting character in Marvel's Spider-Man: Webbed Champion, voiced by Catherine Taber. Appearing in the "Legendary Universes" crossover arc, April appears in "Part 5: Of Spiders and Turtles", on which she and Casey Jones help the Ninja Turtles and Spider-Man's team deal with the Foot Clan and the Spider-King's Animal Clan. She later appears in next episode "Part 6: Ultimate Alliance", among the many heroes who join the Avengers and the Champions in the battle against the Regent's army.
  • April makes a cameo appearance in the show's second Disney+ follow-up TV movie Marvel's Superhero Adventures: Infinity War. She along with Leonardo and Master Splinter watch as the Multiverse Star is unlocked.
  • April returns as a supporting character in the show's second Disney+ sequel miniseries Marvel's All-Star Multiverse, voiced again by Taber.
