Anzen Sentai KikenRanger (translation: Safety Squadron DangerRanger) is a live action educational action-sci-fi 2024 Super Sentai show with 100 episodes, based on the American Danger Rangers franchise. It was adapted into Power Rangers D-Force by Hasbro in 2025, and Shout! Factory made the original Japanese ASKD available worldwide via DVD and Amazon Prime on February 11, 2025.
Plot[]
In the city of Anzenkyō, a terrorist alien army (in space, orbiting Earth) has installed oceanic and mountainous military and laboratory bases near the city. Their foot soldiers are Kiwalas (humanoids with koala ears, all wearing hazmat suits and wielding spiked cactus swords, they say nothing but “Kii! Kii!” in a muffled voice). The Kikenrangers lived in Heaven until their teen years, practicing combat, attending Divine Heights Elementary, Middle, and High School, and mastering mech warfare. They were unsure of why, until they descended to earth as the Kikenrangers, transforming into their spandex suits with the KiCard. The Kialas are destroying property and hammering windows. The Kikenrangers thus begin their first battle!
