Angela Anaconda is an upcoming Canadian-American live action fantasy adventure-comedy musical film based on the Canadian animated children's television series by Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose distributed by Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures.
While the animated series, is animated using paper cut style animation, this film is done in the style of a black-and-white film with some color such as the character's hair or the red in the Canadian flag.
Plot[]
Angela Anaconda lives a normal life in the Tapwater Springs with her friends Johnny, Gina, and Gordy and about to celebrate Canada Day. But when a new french neighbor named Nanette Manoir arrives, she forms a close rivalry with Angela. After discovering Nanette and her servants are plotting to sabotage and ruin the Canadian Day celebration as payback for the French and Indian War, Angela and her friends try to stop expose Nanette and save the parade.

- TBA as Angela Anaconda, the main protagonist a tomboyish, imaginative, freckle-faced eight-year-old girl who eschews the femininity commonly associated with other girls her age. Her meanness is a lot more toned down than in the show
- Jacob Tremblay as Johnny Abatti , a sweet but dim boy of Italian descent. Regarded as an attractive student, Johnny takes pride in his pompadour hairstyle. Nanette Manoir harbours a crush on him and tries to flirt with him frequently, referring to him as "John" and inviting him to exclusive Manoir events, with Angela trying to convince him that Nanette's evil.
- TBA as Gina Lash, the smartest child in her grade. Possessing encyclopedic knowledge, an impressive vocabulary, and a voracious appetite, Gina routinely dispenses reason and insight to her friends. However, she will always participate in whatever scheme they are partaking.

- Jade Locquet as Nanette Manoir, the main antagonist that moved from France who plots to sabotage the Canada's Day parade and celebration due to France losing most of Canada during the French & Indian War. Her hair is golden blonde and styled into long Victorian-style ringlets in emulation of her mother's look. Nanette's doting parents fail to see how rotten their daughter really acts at school, as she is spoiled and never punished her for things she does wrong.

Unlike the show they speak french accents like Nanette. Both are very overindulgent of their daughter, and most of the time they fail to notice let alone punish Nanette's rotten attitude.
- Olivia Garratt and Annick Obonsawin as Nanette's servants who follow her around wherever she goes and serve as her minions. They reprise their roles from the show.
