Amphibia: Return to Wartwood is a 2029 fantasy adventure film produced and directed by Ruben Fleischer, distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, and written by Ashley Lyle, Bart Nickerson, and Chris Weitz, based off a story by Lyle and Nickerson. The sequel to the 2030 film which is based on the 2019 Disney Channel animated series of the same name created the Matt Braly and the third part of the Amphibia film series, it picks off right where the second film ended, as Anne, now in the human world, tries to get the Plantars back home to Wartwood, to fight back Andreas from taking over the world. Lana Condor, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michelle Yeoh, Keke Palmer, Billy Crudup, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Sophie Turner, and Forest Whitaker play their live action roles, with voice and motion capture performances by Jacob Tremblay, Aubrey Plaza, Sam Neill, and Ron Perlman.
Fleischer returned to direct this movie, after departing Undertale: Genocide. Return to Wartwood was going to cover the entirety of Season 3, but split into two parts after some development.
It premiered in May 2029 at the El Capitan Theatre before it's United States premiere in June 2029.
