Amethyst of Gemworld is an American animated action-fantasy television series based on Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld by DC Comics, being developed by [guy who worked on animesque shows before]. It is produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation and it will premiere on HBO Max on October 23rd, 2020.
Synopsis[]
Amy Winston learns that she comes from a dimension called Gemworld as she returns to Gemworld with the purpose to free it from the clutches of the villainous Dark Opal.

- Lord Moonstone (voiced by Jeff Bennett) - the lord of the Moonstones who is somewhat arrogant but well meaning.
- Lady Moonstone (voiced by Jennifer Hale) - Lord Moonstone's friendly and caring wife who cares about his safety.
- Lady Turquoise (voiced by Kari Wahlgren) - the princess of the Turquoise Kingdom who is completely smitten with Prince Topaz.
- White Opal (voiced by Clancy Brown) - Dark Opal's brother who is the complete opposite of him and is more heroic and friendly.
- Quaar (voiced by Josh Keaton) - a humble citizen of the Aquamarine Islands who leads a small resistance against Lord Aquamarine.
- Ruby (voiced by Jim Meskimen) - the former lord of the Ruby Kingdom who threw himself into exile after the Kingdom got destroyed by Dark Opal's forces.
- Granch (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) - a slightly deformed man who is the son of Dark Opal who he abandoned due to being considered hideous.

- Dark Opal (voiced by Jamieson Price) - a terrifying enemy of the House of Amethyst who took control of Gemworld and wants to kill off Amethyst to finally have no more opposition.
- Carnelian (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal) - a man who Dark Opal raises as his own son and second-in-command as a result, he is very egotistical and bratty.
- Princess Topaz (voiced by Grey Griffin) - Prince Topaz's sister who forms an alliance with Dark Opal so she could be in charge of the Topaz Kingdom and to place her brother out of the picture.
- Lady Sapphire (voiced by Vanessa Marshall) - the lady of the Sapphire Kingdom who is somewhat xenophobic and formed an alliance with Dark Opal to gain a husband for herself.
- Sardonyx (voiced by Matthew Mercer) - the desert king of the snakes who was forced to form an alliance with Dark Opal.
- High Priest Diamond (voiced by [holier than thou Voice]) - a highly religious zealot who worships Black Opal as a god and has all of the other diamonds worship him too.
- Lady Emerald/Fire Jade (voiced by Mae Whitman) - the only heir to the Emerald Kingdom who is in a state between life and death and needs to drain all of the energy of Gemworld to survive.
- Lord Aquamarine (voiced by Mark Hamill) - the lord of the Aquamarine Islands who uses oppression in his kingdom and has an obsession with replacing Dark Opal as the Lord of Gemworld.
- Peridot (voiced by Patton Oswalt) - a famous con-man throughout Gemworld who often tries to con people and truly has no friends or allies.
