Alvin and the Chipmunks: The World Tour is a 2026 American live-action/computer-animated musical comedy film based on the musical group of the same name by Ross Bagdasarian Sr. Produced by 20th Century Fox and Regency Enterprises, the film is written by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nicholas Stoller. A sequel to Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip (2015), the film is the final installment in the franchise and stars Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Kaley Cuoco, Anna Faris, Christina Applegate, Jason Lee, Ben Affleck, Danny Trejo, Amy Adams, and Owen Wilson. The film was released on December 18, 2026, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It grossed over $355 million on a $94 million budget and received mixed reviews from critics.


Sometime after the arrest of James Suggs in the previous film, the Chipmunks and Chipettes go on a tour around Europe and Asia where they battle with some of the biggest artists for best singer in the world.
