Agents of Atlas is an animated series based off of the hero team of the same name, being set in its own universe where other hero teams don't exist and pulls from many Marvel elements, with every supporting and villainous character being drawn from some comic. However, the series isn't beholden to using solely Agents of Atlas characters, including characters from all corners of the Marvel universe.

Synopsis[]

Jimmy Woo is a government agent who is visited by the Atlas Corporation, a giant corporation with their hands in everything, for one purpose. To gather a team of superheroes to defend Earth thanks to the rise of super villainous activities. Now leading the Agents of Atlas, Jimmy Woo intends on training them to defend the world as they deal with many threats, including those in Atlas itself.

Main[]

  • Agent Jimmy Woo (voiced by Daniel Dae Kim) - a focused and cynical government agent who is recruited by the Atlas Corporation into forming the elite team known as the Agents of Atlas as he serves as their mentor and field leader as well, slowly getting used to the Agents of Atlas while slowly uncovering corruption inside of the Atlas Corporation as well. It is revealed that he and Gorilla Man were once on an original Agents of Atlas team ten years ago which had Venus, M-11, 3D Man and the Uranian as they had a mission that ended with the permanent deaths of Venus, M-11, 3D Man and the Uranian, with Jimmy swearing to not have this new team fall as well.
  • Shang-Chi (voiced by SungWon Cho) - a calm and competitive master martial artist who is the son of the enigmatic and dangerous Mandarin as he chose to abandon his father and become a superhero, using a group of magical rings attached to his arms known as the Fifteen Rings of War to fight, joining the Agents of Atlas and gets along with his teammates.
  • Namora (voiced by Stephanie Beatriz) - the aggressive yet honorable Princess of the underwater nation of Talokan who joins the Agents of Atlas after Jimmy Woo convinces her that fighting evil would bring peace to Talokan and potentially a unification of the surface and Talokan. She fights using a spear and can sometimes clash with her teammates.
  • Seol Hee/Luna Snow (voiced by Judy Alice Lee) - a giddy and energetic pop idol who gained superpowers after an assault on Stark Stadium by A.I.M., gaining the power to create ice constructs as she joins the Agents of Atlas, enjoying playing music while attempting to prove herself as a great heroine despite being an unconventional one.
  • Lin Lie/Swordmaster (voiced by Stephen Fu) - a brave and daring but still inexperienced aspiring superhero who wields a mystical sword known as the Sword of Fu Xi which is capable of moving on its own as he joins the Agents of Atlas to train to become better at using his sword, becoming close friends with Luna Snow while training under Shang-Chi.
  • Pearl Pagan/Wave (voiced by Cristina Vee) - a brash and tomboyish yet daring swimming star who was tricked into joining an A.I.M. experiment to become a super soldier, gaining the power to control water and create water constructs, being convinced by Jimmy Woo to join the Agents of Atlas, having a playful rivalry with Namora and enjoys playing around when fighting.
  • Kenneth "Ken" Hale/Gorilla Man (voiced by Liam O'Brien) - a hot shot explorer and adventurer whose an immortal trapped inside of the body of a gorilla as he worked as a freelance agent for government agencies and is an old friend of Woo's. When Woo started to form the Agents of Atlas, Kenneth chooses to join as another mentor figure, using his strength to help battle villains.

  • Jackie "Jacks" Chopra/Black Knight (voiced by Janina Gavankar) - a focused yet somewhat nervous museum employee who is the current wielder of the Ebony Blade, a powerful magical sword as she is reluctantly forced into using it, being found by Woo and convinced to join the Agents of Atlas, becoming a new member in episode 15 of season 1.
  • Thasanee Rappaccini/Carmilla Black/Scorpion (voiced by Ashly Burch) - the young daughter of Dr. Rappaccini who was born and raised into becoming the ultimate weapon as she ends up breaking free from her mother's control and becomes a testy ally to the Agents of Atlas, being capable of poisoning people and wants revenge on her mother. She eventually fully joins the team during episode 20 of season 1.

Supporting[]

  • Director Monica Chang (voiced by Suzie Yeung) - a cynical and focused experienced agent of Atlas who directly works under Dario Agger and is considered Woo's superior, being focused on the mission but has a moral compass. In the season 2 premiere, when Agger becomes nuts and becomes the Minotaur, Monica is promoted to the leader of Atlas, attempting to reform it from the inside.
  • Namor (voiced by Alejandro Saab) - Namora's older brother and the current King of Talokan who gives Namora his blessing to join the Agents of Atlas, believing that the unity between the surface world and Talokan would bring peace to both, sometimes involving himself with the Agents of Atlas when they have to deal with threats to Talokan.
    • General Attuma (voiced by Danny Trejo) - a focused and cynical senior Talokanian general who has been around even before Namor's reign as he is slowly getting used to Namor's unorthodox approach to ruling Talokan, having trained Namora in combat and sometimes aids her and the Agents of Atlas when they get into combat involving Talokan.
  • T'Challa/Black Panther (voiced by James C. Mathis III) - the wise and disciplined warrior king and protector of the African nation of Wakanda. Although he is not a member of the Agents of Atlas, he has been an ally to Agent Woo, and has helped him train the original team, serving the same purpose for the new members, being willing to make peace between Wakanda and the mainland alongside Talokan.
    • Shuri (voiced by Anairis Quiñones) - T'Challa's enthusiastic yet intelligent and trusty younger sister, and the crown princess of Wakanda who specializes in her country's technology and mysticism as well, being also an admirer and ally for the Agents of Atlas, and a friend to Namora, training to become a powerful griot who can mix technology and mysticism.
  • Danny Rand/Iron Fist (voiced by Troy Baker) - a rich billionaire and the current champion of K'unn L'unn who is an ally to both Shang Chi and soon Sword Master, with him being sometimes cocky and silly but is truly friendly, actually seeing potential in Lin Lie, believing that he could potentially become the next Iron Fist if he gets doomed.

Antagonists[]

  • Dario Agger/Minotaur (voiced by Travis Willingham) - the current CEO of the Atlas Corporation who took it over after rising up the ranks of one of Atlas' many sub-groups, Roxxon, secretly intending on using Atlas' resources to become a God. The reveals of his machinations aren't revealed until season 2, where he ends up getting booted out of Atlas but transforms into a rampaging minotaur, being a dangerous physical threat to the Agents of Atlas now.
  • Xu-Wenwu/The Mandarin (voiced by Kaiji Tang) - Shang-Chi's father and the immortal leader of the terrorist organization known as the Ten Rings as he deems Shang-Chi as a weakling for fleeing from the Ten Rings. He becomes a dangerous threat to the Agents of Atlas, having plans on top of plans and wields ten rings which gives him a plethora of powers, making him a dangerous and unpredictable threat. He is given multiple aliases with one of the most notable ones being the Yellow Claw, having fought Atlas for decades now.
  • Monica Rappaccini/Scientist Supreme (voiced by Laura Bailey) - the egotistical and megalomaniacal current leader of A.I.M. who wants to prove her intellectual superiority over the world, often being responsible for the creation of numerous threats that the Agents of Atlas have to dismantle, with her starting to loathe the Agents with a passion.
    • Jae Hwa Kwak/Joro Spider (voiced by Erika Ishii) - a focused and somewhat flamboyant A.I.M. agent who wears a high-tech suit that allows her to mimic a spider as she was the one responsible for Seol Hee's transformation into Luna Snow and often works directly under Dr. Rappaccini on schemes, being a dangerous hand-to-hand combatant.
    • Super-Adaptoid (voiced by Keith David) - an emotionless and initially silent combat android designed by Rappaccini to be the ultimate super-soldier for A.I.M., as it is designed to mimic superhuman abilities and weapons, being quite a dangerous adversary for the Agents of Atlas. He ends up gaining an intellect but is still forced in servitude to A.I.M., being quite a dangerous threat.
  • Thakorr (voiced by Christian Lanz) - the original King of Talokan who loathed outsiders with a passion and was ultimately killed by Namor, although he recently came back to life as a lifeless vampire. Now he intends on taking back his rightful throne as well as destroying the surface world, becoming a terrifying and unstoppable threat to the Agents of Atlas, with them having to think of many ways to stop him.
  • Todd Arliss/Tiger Shark (voiced by Jack Quaid) - a cocky and egotistical former swimmer who used to be bitter rivals with Pearl Pagan during their swimming careers as he gets into an accident, being found by the Ten Rings and got injected with Talokanian DNA. Now transformed into a part-shark, Todd intends to prove himself as the king of the seas, gaining a dangerous rivalry with Pearl when he learns that she is the superheroine known as Wave.
  • Bi-Beast (voiced by Jason Marnocha) - a giant and rampaging alien monster from space and ended up crash landing on Earth as he goes on a mindless rampage, being stopped by the Agents of Atlas multiple times, slowly becoming more intelligent and dangerous, being very strong and capable of destroying anything he touches.
  • Antoine Desloin/Hypno Hustler (voiced by Daveed Diggs) - a funky yet fame loving singer and supervillain who leads the criminal band known as the Mercy Killers as he wants to be rich and famous, often targeting the Agents of Atlas and has a rivalry with Luna Snow in particular thanks to both of them being masters of different types of music.
