Activision Heroes is a shared universe franchise, with the films being centered around Soundshock the Griffin, Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot and Crystal: The Face Paint Heroine. The first film, Soundshock: The Young Griffin was released on July 2019.
All of the films are being distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Changes between the films and the games
- Mattie Lovepaint redeems earlier in the movie.
- Soundshock dies in the near climax, only for him to be revived quickly.
- Zoe doesn't seem to live in Avalar in the film series as she lived in Dragon Realms.
- Gnasty Gnorc reforms in the near-climax of the Spyro movie, making the Sorceress the true main villain, being responsible for making Gnorcs hating dragons.
- Crash Bandicoot can talk compared to the video game series. He did also talk in Skylanders Academy.
- Nestor is Spyro's adopted father as he raised him since Spyro was only a baby.
- Moneybags has a Egyptian accent rather than his usual accent, despite the A Hero's Tail game being non-canon to the Spyro series.
