- Soundshock dies in the near climax, only for him to be revived quickly.
- Zoe doesn't seem to live in Avalar in the film series as she lived in Dragon Realms.
- Gnasty Gnorc reforms in the near-climax of the Spyro movie, making the Sorceress the true main villain, being responsible for making Gnorcs hating dragons.
- Crash Bandicoot can talk compared to the video game series. He did also talk in Skylanders Academy.
- Nestor is Spyro's adopted father as he raised him since Spyro was only a baby.
- Moneybags has a Egyptian accent rather than his usual accent, despite the A Hero's Tail game being non-canon to the Spyro series.
- TBD
