Across the Teal Planet is an American CGI animated adventure science fiction comedy film directed by TBD, being produced by Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies and distributed by Paramount Pictures and has released in theaters on September 2nd, 2022.
Synopsis[]
The film follows Liam Cassidy, a rather shy and awkward teenager who has just started his first day of high school, as one weekend, he and his little sister, Ava, were hanging out in a park when a strange UFO appears and abducts the both of them, but things get even more awry when the UFO crashes, as Liam wakes up to find himself on the teal planet called Necruiter with Ava nowhere to be found. With the help of three new strange alien friends, Liam heads out to find Ava while also trying to find a way to get back to Earth while also dealing with an evil ruler of the planet and his army.
Cast[]
- Clark Duke as Liam Cassidy, a shy teenager who just started high school as he and his sister were abducted by aliens until he was accidentally dropped in an alien forest, leaving him to venture out to find Ava and get out of the teal planet.
- TBD as Ava Cassidy, a friendly little girl who is Liam's brother and likes hanging out with him, especially whenever he's having a bad day, as she ends up being abducted and taken to Necruiter.
- TBD as Caquine, a snarky and sarcastic dog-horse alien hybrid who gets annoyed easily as he often serves as transport for Xaylor and Bloopy, as well as Liam when first meeting him. Caquine was not fond of Liam at first but soon grew to show care for him as time went on.
- TBD as Xaylor, a friendly yet tough and skilled purple humanoid alien who has been fighting off Oryon's army trying to get a hold of her and Caquine and Bloopy, as she is best friends with the two and soon befriended Liam after rescuing him.
- TBD as Bloopy, a cheerful yet naïve blue slime alien who likes cuddling and spreading joy to other people being another best friend of Xaylor and Caquine, although despite his usual personality, he does get tough whenever he needs to.
- TBD as Dominator Oryon, a tyrannical and cold-hearted alien who has taken over Necruiter as he has held Ava along with many different aliens in his lair to drain their energy for his mega weapon that he would use on various life-infested planets, including Earth, while also sending his army to find Liam.
- TBD as Alkyria, Oryon's loyal assistant who does whatever her boss may want her to do and was the one who abducted Liam and Ava for Oryon.
