A Bug's Life 2 is 2025 American computer-animated comedy-adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Directed by Brian Fee, Bob Peterson, and Mike Rich, it is the second installment of the A Bug's Life film series and the stand-alone sequel to A Bug's Life (1998). It was executive-produced by John Lasseter. It is set to be released on November 14, 2025.

Development on A Bug's Life 2 will begin in late Christmas 2023 after the release of A Bug's Life and by February 2024, pre-production on the film was underway. In June 2024, director of the A Bug's Life film, John Lasseter, will reveal at the Germany International Film Festivalthat the film would feature a tribute to Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck's film The Live of the Others.
On April 17, 2025, it will be announced that Jonathan Freeman would voice Dinamos, respectively. Five months later, Jim Cummings, Jennifer Aniston, Angela Lansbury, Jerome Ranft and Ed Asner will join the cast.

Fee said that both the score and the soundtrack "The Time of Your Life (Remastered)". Both the soundtrack and the score are going to be released on November 14, 2025.
Soundtrack[]
The soundtrack features "The Time of Your Life", an original song written and performed by Randy Newman, Auerbach said that the filmmakers showed him the story and some dialogue, from which he pieced together a story for the song. The soundtrack also features "The City (Remastered Version)", which will be released as a single on August 1, 2025.

A tie-in video game has been announced to accompany the film's release. It was developed by Avalanche Software. It was released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 11, 2025, in North America, in Europe and Australia on December 12, 2025, and in Japan on January 29, 2026.

In North America, A Bug's Life 2 will be released alongside Avatar 3, The Batman Part II and Blade, and was projected to gross $55–60 million from 4,256 theaters in its opening weekend. It made $2.8 million from Thursday night previews and $19.5 million on its first day. It went on to open to $53.7 million, finishing first at the box office and dethroning two-time first-place finisher Minecraft:The Movie]]. A Bug's Life 2 had the lowest opening of the series. In its second weekend, the film grossed $24.1 million, dropping to third place, behind Fantastic Four and Minecraft. In its third weekend the film made $9.7 million ($14.1 million over the five-day 4 July holiday weekend), dropping to 5th.
