This movie takes place a year after Hopper got eaten by the bird's chicks. Winter has come to ant island with dark clouds full of snow. Dot and the blueberry scouts go out on an adventure only to end up lost in the snow and cold. Can the circus bugs, Flik, Atta, and the other ants find Dot and the blueberry scouts before they freeze to death in the extremely cold wind chills, thundersnow, and other snowstorms?
Dot and the blueberry scouts had to spend two nights in a ice cavern. Two nights later, Dot makes a makeshift sled out of someone's belongings. Dot places a lantern on the pole of the "sled" before offering the blueberry scouts a ride down the mountain due to their injured wings. They slid down the mountain at full speed during the thundersnow, hitting several bumps. Six minutes later, the sled crashes into a rock, throwing Dot and the blueberry scouts, including all the things to make the sled many feet down the mountain.
